For travelers with disabilities visiting Germany, there are a number of wheelchair accessible hotel rooms in Berlin. Although I have personally stayed in only a handful of Berlin hotels, I’ve detailed those accommodations here and have also included a list of other hotels that provide photographs of their wheelchair accessible hotel rooms.
Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz (Top Accessible Hotel)
You’ll be hard pressed to find an accessible hotel better than the Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz Hotel. Located in one of the city’s most popular tourist areas, the Scandic Hotel in Berlin checks all of the boxes.

The room featured two single beds, one of which was adjustable using the push-button controller. While the bed sat a bit high, there was plenty of space for a Hoyer lift to roll underneath the bed frame. Speaking of transfer hoists — check out this fantastic article, Leave Your Hoyer At Home: These 41 Hotels Have Mobile Lifts. The Scandic Berlin is one of them!
To learn more about the hotel and to see more photos of the guest room interior, be sure check out my review: Wheelchair Accessible Room at Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz Hotel.
Berlin Marriott Hotel (Top Accessible Hotel)
I am a fairly frequent visitor to Berlin and have stayed at the Berlin Marriott Hotel a handful of times. The hotel offers guests a pleasant accommodation steps from Potsdamer Platz, an excellent spot for tourists to make a home in the city with plenty of connections to accessible public transportation. The hotel is within walking/rolling distance of the Brandenburg Gate and the German Reichstag.

The hotel’s accessible guest rooms feature a king size bed an an adapted bathroom with a roll-under sink, roll-in shower, and toilet with grab bars. While it doesn’t have all of the features you’ll find at the Scandic, the Marriott can still be a great option!
Courtyard Berlin City Center
The Courtyard by Marriott Berlin City Center is located near Checkpoint Charlie and offers accessible guest rooms with a queen size bed.

The accessible bathroom is fantastic, with a roll-under sink, toilet with grab bars, and a roll-in shower with a built-in seat.
MOXY Berlin Ostbahnhof
The Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof hotel is an affordable accommodation — accessible guest rooms are available in the larger family room type, however you can book a standard room online, then call to confirm the accessible room type — this will save you the additional cost of the larger room type.

The wheelchair accessible bathroom features a roll-in shower with a wall-mounted folding seat and a toilet with grab bars. The Moxy is a no-frills hotel with a hip atmosphere, great for explorers both young and old.
JW Marriott Berlin
The JW Marriott Berlin is part of Marriott’s premium JW brand. The full-service hotel is located just off Potsdamer Platz in the center of the city.

Accessible guest rooms feature a bathroom with a roll-in shower and a toilet with folding grab bars. One hiccup in the design is that the sink is not roll-under, however if you can manage you’ll enjoy the luxury hotel. Although the JW Marriott in Berlin isn’t the city’s most accessible hotel, I do love the brand.
ibis Budget Berlin City Potsdamer Platz
It’s tough to beat the affordability of the ibis Budget Berlin City Potsdamer Platz hotel, part of the Accor Hotels family of hotels. Located near Potsdamer Platz, the hotel offers a great location at an affordable price.

The accessible guest rooms feature a wonderful bathroom, with all of the features you would expect from a truly accessible hotel. The roll-in shower has a built-in seat, the toilet has a folding grab bar, and there is plenty of clearance to roll under the sink.
Waldorf Astoria Berlin
The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is a luxury hotel offering incredible views of the city skyline. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you can enjoy the refined elegance of this art deco hotel.

Accessible guest rooms feature a king size bed and a roll-in shower with a built-in seat, ensuring you’ll have a worry-free experience amidst a luxurious environment.
Holiday Inn Express Berlin City Centre
Located near Potsdamer Platz in the heart of Berlin, the Holiday Inn Express Berlin City Centre offers a fantastic level of accessibility for guests with disabilities.

Accessible guest rooms feature a bathroom with a roll-in shower, roll-under sink, and a toilet with grab bars. The attached seat in the roll-in shower is a bit small, which could pose difficulty for some guests.
Holiday Inn Express Berlin Alexanderplatz
Located close to Museum Island, the Holiday Inn Express Berlin Alexanderplatz hotel is a great option for accessible accommodation in Berlin.

The hotel’s accessible guest rooms feature a roll-in shower, roll-under sink, and a toilet with grab bars — everything you need to have an enjoyable, accessible stay!
