On this tour, we will visit Casablanca, Marrakesh, Essaouira and the surrounding areas to experience a program that highlights Moroccan traditions, art, architecture, history and cuisine. Presented in a format that is accessible and designed to be barrier-free, this tour provides the perfect opportunity to experience authentic Morocco!
Trip Itinerary
Like all Wheelchair Travel Tours, I have crafted this accessible tour itinerary with the support of local and regional partners who have the knowledge, equipment and staff to ensure that our needs are met. Through this group tour, we are able to account for everyone’s needs while offering a truly exceptional experience at an affordable price. There is no better way to explore Morocco with a wheelchair or disability!
Day 1 (Friday, January 22, 2027): Arrival in Casablanca
Our driver will be waiting for you at the Casablanca International Airport (CMN), and you will be transported in a wheelchair accessible vehicle to our 4-star hotel for check-in.
Take the afternoon to rest or explore the local area on your own, before meeting the group for a tour orientation and dinner with our travel guide in the hotel restaurant. Our guide will describe the tour itinerary in rich detail, and I will be available to answer any questions you have.

Day 2 (January 23, 2027): Casablanca and Rabat
We will begin the day with a rare opportunity — all travelers on this tour will be permitted to enter inside Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Set along the Atlantic coast, the mosque is regarded for its traditional Islamic design and local craftsmanship.
Inside, we will admire intricate tilework, carved cedar ceilings, marble floors and ornate decorative details while our guide shares the story behind this extraordinary structure and its place within Moroccan culture. With its soaring minaret and dramatic waterfront location, the Hassan II Mosque is an unforgettable introduction to Morocco’s history, faith tradition and architectural beauty.
Following our tour, we will travel one hour north to Rabat, the capital city and the residence of the Moroccan King. We will have time to enjoy lunch on Le Dhow, an accessible restaurant ship at the mouth of the Bou Regreg river with spectacular views of the surrounding area.
After lunch, we will stop at Kasbah of the Udayas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to enjoy its stunning scenery and views of the Atlantic Ocean. We will continue to see the Hassan Tower, a 12th century remnant of a former mosque, before returning to Casablanca in the late afternoon.

Day 3 (January 24, 2027): Casablanca to Marrakesh
After breakfast, we will check out of our Casablanca hotel and drive south towards Marrakesh. We will check-in to the 4-star Hotel Kenzi Rose Garden, our home for the next 3 nights, then head out to explore local attractions.

We will first enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakesh, before heading to the world famous Jemaa El Fnaa Market, located in an iconic square that dates to the 11th century and which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The square is bustling with snake charmers, vendors, storytellers and the sweetest fresh-squeezed orange juice you’ve ever had. We will enjoy people watching during a group dinner at the iconic Cafe Argana, offering sweeping views of the market.

Day 4 (January 25, 2027): Agafay Desert
After a free morning, we will travel from Marrakesh to the Agafay Desert in the afternoon. We will enjoy spending the late afternoon and evening at a luxury camp in the desert.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink, lounge by the pool, and admire the view of the boundless desert landscape. Be sure to take pictures with the resident camels and, if you have the core and upper body strength, you can take a ride on one! Our evening surrounded by the Agafay Desert will be an experience to remember, and it's a quintessential part of experiencing the true Morocco.
After the sun sets, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and a small performance of bedouin music and dancing.

Day 5 (January 26, 2027): Majorelle Gardens and Marrakesh Medina Tour
Today, we will begin the day with a tour of the lush Majorelle Gardens, a botanical garden in the heart of Marrakesh. Thereafter, we will take a self-guided tour through the iconic Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which is a unique and unexpected attraction dedicated to the life of the legendary fashion designer who made his home in Marrakesh.
In the afternoon, we will experience the centerpiece of any visit to Morocco — the Marrakesh Medina. Our guide will help us navigate this maze of narrow streets with thousands of stalls. Full of history, culture and colorful souks where you will find handcrafts, carpets, spices, herbs and everything in between. Whether you will shop for souvenirs or simply peruse the market, you will have an authentically marvelous time.

Day 6 (January 27, 2027): Marrakesh to Essaouira
Our late morning start will put our group on the road West toward the Atlantic Ocean. We'll stop along the way to see the incredible work being done at the Argan Cooperative.
Although we will not get to see the tree-climbing goats, we will still meet the locals who are working to produce argan oil by hand.
After our visit and a rest stop, we will arrive in Essaouira — an eclectic town nestled on the wild Atlantic coast. We will check-in and unwind at our hotel overlooking the coastal dunes.

Day 7 (January 28, 2027): Essaouira Medina Tour
Essaouira has an artsy air to it and is a tranquil counterpart to Marrakech’s bustle. The local fishing port and the ancient Mogador Ramparts are among the highlights.
Traditional Gnawa music and ornate Thuya Burl carpentry are local to the area. After our tour of the Essaouira Medina, we will return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 8 (January 29, 2027): Free Day in Essaouira + Gnawa Music Performance
We will enjoy a free day in Essaouira, with wheelchair accessible van transfers between our hotel and the city at set times. During the free day, you will have the opportunity to pursue your curiosities within the town center.
In the evening, enjoy a performance of Gnawa music, a captivating Moroccan spiritual and ritual music that blends sub-Saharan African, Arab-Muslim and Amazigh traditions. The musical style is characterized by hypnotic, trance-inducing rhythms, call-and-response chants and the use of distinct traditional instruments — a truly authentic Moroccan experience!

Day 9 (January 30, 2027): Essaouira to El Jadida
We will drive North through the remote coastal towns of Safi, a hub of Moroccan Pottery, and Azzemour, with its mosaic of historical influences from the Phoenicians to the Romans and Arabs, before stopping in El Jadida.
In El Jadida, we will enjoy a night of rest and relaxation at a luxury resort along the Atlantic coast, as well as a delicious farewell dinner.

Day 10: Departure (January 31, 2027)
After checking out of our hotel in El Jadida, our driver will transport us to the Casablanca International Airport (CMN) for our departing flights.

Trip Costs and Inclusions
The costs of the 2027 Wheelchair Travel Group Tour to Morocco are as follows:
- $6,450 USD per person based on double occupancy
- $12,900 USD per person for single occupancy
The preferred method of payment is via check or bank transfer (domestic wire, Zelle, etc.), however credit and debit card transactions are accepted with a 3.5% processing fee (4.5% for those residing outside of the United States).

How to reserve your spot
Space on this tour is extremely limited. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your spot in the group, with the remaining balance due by October 23, 2026 (90 days prior to the tour’s start date).
