Although there is no Chinese law which equates to the Americans with Disabilities Act, there are still many options for wheelchair accessible hotel rooms in Hong Kong. Accessible guest rooms are much more likely to be found at the global hotel brands you would recognize – IHG, Hilton, Marriott, etc.

With no clear accessible standards for hotel rooms in Hong Kong, it is important to ask the hotels for information on access before booking a room. Ask about everything—door width, thresholds, shower/tub set-up, bed height, grab bars, shower chair—to avoid a surprise when you arrive.

Accessible hotels are available on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon, near popular attractions, restaurants and shopping centers. The following is a list of hotels in Hong Kong with wheelchair accessible rooms and roll-in showers and/or accessible bathtubs:
