Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Wheelchair Accessible Travel Guide

I recently visited Kuala Lumpur as part of a press trip with the city’s Tourism Bureau, and am fortunate to be able to share my #VisitKL experience with you through this guide.

Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia, and sits at the center of the beautiful Klang Valley. KL is rated as an alpha world city, meaning it is a vitally important fixture of the global economy. It is also a center for government, politics, finance, the arts, tourism and religion in Southeast Asia.

KL is one of the most wheelchair-friendly cities that I have visited in Southeast Asia, with improvements currently underway in both transportation and infrastructure. Use this guide to learn about the challenges and plan an accessible trip or vacation to Asia’s Garden City of Lights.
