In Munich, the majority of western or American hotel brands use the Americans with Disabilities Act as a guide in the construction of their international properties. Foreign hotels carrying a western brand are more likely offer wheelchair accessible hotel rooms with roll-in showers, grab bars and other accessibility features. For individuals requiring an accessible hotel room with roll-in shower, I recommend booking with a western hotel chain such as Hilton, Marriott or Starwood for the best experience.
