Hello, everyone!
Today is an exciting day — bookings for the September 2025 WheelchairTravel.org Group Trip to Barcelona, Spain are now open!
I invite you to join me and fellow readers on an accessible tour of Spain this Fall, from September 9, 2025 to September 18, 2025. Together, we’ll eat, drink and explore our way through the remarkable region of Catalonia, visiting iconic sites like the Sagrada Família church, Parc Güell on Carmel Hill and the tree-lined pedestrian avenue Las Ramblas.

We'll also enjoy the spectacular views from Montserrat and see a performance of its Escalonia Choir, before turning our sights to the Costa Brava and attractions like the Salvador Dalí Museum in the artist's birthplace of Girona, Spain. This is a trip designed for all of us, made accessible through extensive planning and partnerships with a team of accessible tourism experts!

With the support of local and regional partners, I’ve built an itinerary that will take us to Spain's exceptional UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to some of its best restaurants, and to one of Barcelona’s most popular Flamenco performances — all while enjoying the company of other travelers. Travelers will delight in the wheelchair accessible accommodations at Barcelona's exclusive Seventy Hotel, which was recently awarded one of the very first MICHELIN Keys (think MICHELIN Stars, but for exceptional hotels). This is a tour unlike any other.
Paid subscribers to this newsletter will have exclusive access to the tour itinerary and booking information from now until Monday, March 3, after which time it will open to everyone if spaces remain. Many Wheelchair Travel groups sell out quickly, and the same could happen with this tour. If you are not yet a premium subscriber and would like to skip the wait, please upgrade your subscription to gain this and many other benefits.
