Thanksgiving is a great holiday, especially if you like turkey. But the biggest celebration of the year comes the day after, on Black Friday, a magical time when everything is on sale — including travel!
I’ve compiled this list of the best Black Friday travel deals for 2018, and there are many opportunities to score major savings. Putting this together took a lot of time. So, without further ado, here are the deals!
HUGE Discounts from OTAs on Black Friday
While I normally recommend booking hotels and airfare direct, these discounts from OTAs like Expedia and Priceline are just too good to pass up.
Expedia
Beginning at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, Expedia will release five different sets of coupons on its website:
- Coupon 1 — $100 off $200+ flights
- Coupon 2 — 75% off standalone hotels
- Coupon 3 — $500 off $1,000+ vacation packages
- Coupon 4 — $25 off $50+ activities
- Coupon 5 — 10% off standalone hotels
Quantities are limited and the coupons will go fast, so you’ll need to act quickly. For more information on the deal, click here.
Priceline
Priceline is going bigger than ever this year, with a limited number of 99% off discount codes being sent to e-mail subscribers. In order to get a shot at this massive discount, you need to click here and join the Priceline e-mail list.
Even if you don’t score one of the 1,000 discount codes for 99% off, they’ll still be handing out massive discounts for hotels and flights all weekend. Be sure to check the Priceline website for the latest information.
Black Friday Flight Deals for 2018
You can score great deals from both domestic and international airlines for flights close to home or across the world. Here’s what has been announced so far, with more deals sure to come.
Aer Lingus
Through its Black Flyday sale, Aer Lingus is offering airfare discounts on round trips from the U.S. to Europe. Save $50 on departures from the east coast and score $100 off when departing from the west coast.
Discounts are valid for travel between January 8 and March 22, 2019. You must book by 6:59 p.m. ET on November 28.
Air Canada
Through its Black Friday Worldwide Seat Sale, Air Canada is bringing flight deals to travelers around the world. Special offers are available on flights to Canada and to other international destinations, including Europe and Asia.
The sale lasts until November 25th, and you can find more information on the Air Canada website.
Air France
Air France hasn’t announced their Black Friday deals yet, but I’ll keep checking. In the meantime, you can visit the Air France website to check for yourself. Last year’s deals on transatlantic travel were pretty impressive.
Cathay Pacific
If you want to travel to Asia, Cathay Pacific is offering massive discounts from now until November 27th! Use the promo code HOLIDAY to unlock the following discounts:
- Extra $1,000 off Business Class tickets
- Extra $500 off Premium Economy tickets
- Up to 60% off Economy Class flights

Delta Air Lines
Delta is running a number of Black Friday Flight Deals on revenue and award tickets, for economy class and premium economy. Check out all of the deals on the Delta website. You must book by November 25th.
Ryanair
Yes, even ultra low cost carriers get in on the Black Friday dealmaking, and Ryanair is offering one-way fares to destinations all across Europe for the low price of just 5 GBP.
New deals will be posted each day from now through Cyber Monday. Tickets must be purchased for travel from December through February. To take advantage of these deals, click here.
Virgin Atlantic
The deals aren’t up yet, but if Virgin Atlantic’s 2017 Black Friday promotions are any indication of what to expect this year, they’ll be worth waiting for.

Black Friday Hotel Deals for 2018
While the third-party OTAs have a few incredible discounts on hotels, booking direct on Black Friday can still have its advantages. These deals are for everyone, and aren’t likely to run out.
Choice Hotels
Travel for less with this great Black Friday deal from Choice Hotels. Book a stay of two or more nights and save up to 20% off the standard room rate!

Hard Rock Hotels & Resorts
Hard Rock isn’t just a restaurant. The brand has grown to include hotels and all-inclusive resorts in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Some of these resorts are running mega discounts for Black Friday, up to 50% off at all-inclusive properties that provide unlimited activities and spa treatments.

Hilton Hotels
Hilton has three major sales going on right now. Here’s the breakdown:
- 50% off in Japan, South Korea and Guam — If you’re traveling to one of these three countries, you hit the jackpot. Hilton wants to cut your room rate in half. Yes, they’re handing out 50% discounts from now until 2:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23. If you want this deal, click here.
- 35% off in the Asia Pacific — Whether you’re going Down Under, to Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, etc., Hilton’s flash sale for 35% off hotel rooms is incredible. To score this discount, click here.

Loews Hotels
After an incredible stay at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, I truly fell in love with this hotel brand. Whether you’re a fan or have never tried them before, the Cyber Monday deal is a great reason to stay at a Loews Hotel.
Beginning Monday, November 26, you’ll be able to take 10% off all 2018 room reservations and 20% off all reservations for 2019. That’s a huge savings! Check back here on Monday for the link to the deal.
Marriott Hotels
Marriott ran a big Black Friday & Cyber Week sale last year, and I expect them to do so again.

This is the catch-all category, but the deals here are top notch. I want to take advantage of them all. I mean, who doesn’t want to swim with dolphins or sail the ocean?
SeaWorld Orlando
Take up to 60% off the cost of admission to the SeaWorld Park in Orlando, FL during this year’s “Blue Friday” sale! That means single day park tickets for as low as $39.99!
