The number of wheelchair accessible hotel rooms in Las Vegas is mind-boggling, with countless options for disabled accommodation across the city’s many resorts.
As a wheelchair user, I have personally stayed at more than 20 hotels and resorts in Las Vegas, and have found the majority to be wheelchair-friendly. In this article, I have included information, pictures and measurements from many of the most popular hotels in the city. This list of ADA accessible hotels in Las Vegas is not exhaustive, but should get you started in your search for an accommodation that will meet your accessibility needs.

ARIA Resort & Casino
ARIA is one of my favorite hotels in Las Vegas due to its modern design, spacious rooms, and advanced features, including a tablet that controls lights, drapes and more. Guest room accessibility is good, though the beds are very tall. The hotel is connected to the Crystal Shops and Bellagio with a free tram.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 31 inches
- Clear space under bed — 6 inches
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 29 inches
- Toilet seat height — 18 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 18.5 inches
- Shower seat width x depth — 18 x 14 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches
An expanded review of ARIA Las Vegas will be published soon.
Bellagio Hotel & Casino
The Bellagio is a luxurious property, notable for its incredible fountain shows which dazzle visitors along Las Vegas Boulevard. The hotel’s accessibility is spot-on and guest rooms are ADA compliant in nearly every way. For those who typically used a patient transfer hoist, the hotel has a number of rooms featuring ceiling track hoists, which can be reserved by contacting the hotel directly.

Caesars Palace
There are a number of iconic casino hotels in Las Vegas, but there is perhaps none more so than Caesars Palace. Recently updated guest rooms have brought widespread accessibility to the resort, including to a number of wheelchair accessible suites. I have had the pleasure of staying in an ADA accessible Studio Suite in the hotel’s Julius Tower, which is centrally located on the property.

Here are some measurements from the studio suite:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 29 inches
- Clear space under bed — None (platform base)
- Sink height; free space under sink — 35 inches; 29 inches
- Toilet bowl height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 18 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches

Delano Las Vegas
The all-suite Delano Las Vegas hotel is one of the best values on the strip. Located inside the Mandalay Bay property, the hotel features fantastic accessibility and an affordable luxury that is within reach for many Las Vegas visitors. The one downside is the hotel’s location on the south end of the Strip, but a free monorail connecting the Delano with Luxor and Excalibur will make it seem not so far away.

For more information on the Delano, visit the hotel website.
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Encore is one of the most luxurious hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, with guest rooms starting at 745 square feet and featuring separate living and sleeping areas. Accessible guest rooms feature a roll-in shower, grab bars and more. The resort offers an experience like no other, with incredible dining options, entertainment and two large casinos.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 27 inches
- Clear space under bed — 7 inches
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 29 inches
- Toilet seat height — 18 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 17.5 inches
- Shower seat width x depth — 18 x 13.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches

Excalibur Hotel & Casino
Would you like to sleep in a castle? You can do it, in Las Vegas, at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino? The rooms are dated, but you can score a good deal with base room rates often less than $30 per night.

Harrah’s Las Vegas
Looking for a low- to mid-range property on the Las Vegas Strip? Check out Harrah’s Las Vegas, located next to The LINQ, across the street from The Mirage and within easy walking distance of resorts like Caesars Palace, Treasure Island and The Venetian. The hotel and casino are both accessible, and ADA accessible guest rooms offer the lowest bed heights on the Stip. This property is a great choice for manual wheelchair users in particular, and I recommend it as a comfortable accommodation at a great price.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 19 inches
- Clear space under bed — 5 inches
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 28 inches
- Toilet seat height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 17.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches

Las Vegas Marriott Hotel
Just two blocks off the Las Vegas Strip, the Las Vegas Marriott Hotel offers a break from the tourist crowds and slot machines without being too far away from the fun. My ADA accessible hotel room had everything that I needed, including an easy-to-use roll-in shower and a comfortable king size bed.

Luxor Hotel & Casino
At the Luxor Hotel & Casino, guests can stay in a true pyramid on the Las Vegas Strip, while being surrounded by Egyptian-themed artwork and statues of pharaohs. The Luxor is really cool, with an interesting theme that sets it apart from other hotels in Vegas.
The hotel is cheap, too, with base room rates often dipping under $30 per night, albeit with an additional “resort fee” of about $40 per night. Accessibility at the hotel is mediocre at best, but if it will meet your needs, the bargain basement room rates are hard to beat.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 23 inches
- Clear space under bed — None (platform base)
- Sink height; free space under sink — 31 inches; 27.5 inches
- Toilet seat height — 18 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 34 inches
- Shower seat height — 17.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 34.5 inches
For more information on the Luxor Hotel & Casino, visit the hotel website.
Mandalay Bay Resort
Mandalay Bay is located on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, and it is connected to Luxor and Excalibur via a free tram. The hotel has gone through a number of updates, but accessibility is still lacking in some respects. In one instance, there are no built-in shower seats, and a portable plastic chair is provided instead.

For more information about Mandalay Bay, visit the hotel website.
The Mirage
Located between Caesars Palace and Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip, The Mirage is right at the heart of the action. On property, there are exciting attractions including Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden (with daily dolphin shows, lions and tigers) and a volcano that “erupts” each night. Guest room accessibility is good, especially in rooms with an ADA accessible transfer shower.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 23.5 inches
- Clear space under bed — None (platform base)
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 28 inches
- Toilet seat height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 17.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches
A more detailed review of this hotel will be published soon.
New York-New York Hotel & Casino
If you love New York City, you’ll enjoy this themed hotel, with its mock skyline facade and its very own Statue of Liberty out front. Accessible hotel rooms at there New York-New York casino are fantastic, with plenty of space and a bathroom that checks all of the boxes for easy access.

Paris Las Vegas
For a true mid-scale hotel at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, look no further than Paris Las Vegas. The hotel offers ADA accessible rooms with roll-in showers just steps from the Bellagio Fountains, Caesars Palace and more. And, to top it all off, the hotel has its very own replica of the Eiffel Tower!

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 27.5 inches
- Clear space under bed — Limited due to platform base
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 29 inches
- Toilet seat height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 18 inches
- Shower seat width x depth — 22 x 14.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35.5 inches
A more detailed review of this hotel will be published soon.
Park MGM Las Vegas
MGM Resorts reopened Park MGM in 2020 as the very first smoke-free hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel underwent major renovations in 2018, but that renovation did not improve guest room accessibility. There are some aspects of the design that make it difficult for me to use the roll-in showers, but there are many for whom it works well.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 23 inches
- Clear space under bed — Limited due to platform base (read more)
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 27 inches
- Toilet seat height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 35 inches
- Shower seat height — 18 inches or portable shower chair
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches

Plaza Hotel & Casino
The Plaza Hotel & Casino, located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience, offers wheelchair accessible hotel rooms at an affordable price. The relaxed environment makes for an enjoyable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to The Plaza on a future trip to Downtown Vegas.

The accessible bathroom was better than what is offered by many hotels on the Vegas Strip, with a roll-in shower, toilet with grab bars and roll-under sink.
A more detailed review of this hotel will be published soon.
SAHARA Las Vegas
Located on the north Las Vegas Strip, the SAHARA hotel and casino has a long history. The hotel is older, but has chic decor that was introduced during a 2013 renovation. Although the hotel is not in the best location, it is served by a stop on the Las Vegas Monorail, which makes all parts of the Strip accessible in short order. The SAHARA has a number of ADA accessible rooms with roll-in showers.

Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
Thanks to a timeshare offer from Hilton Hotels, I had the opportunity to stay for free at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. I received a corner suite, which I enjoyed very much, but noted some issues with accessibility — namely with the transfer shower, which had a large “curb” preventing my wheelchair from approaching the seat.

Here are some measurements of the room features:
- Bed height to top of mattress — 28 inches
- Clear space under bed — 3.5 inches
- Sink height; free space under sink — 34 inches; 30 inches
- Toilet seat height — 17.5 inches
- Toilet grab bar height — 34 inches
- Shower seat height — 17 to 18 inches, with a raised floor barrier of 4.5 inches
- Shower grab bar height — 35 inches
A more detailed review of this hotel will be published soon.
Vdara Hotel & Spa
Located in the CityCenter complex, Vdara Hotel & Spa is an all-suite resort in the MGM portfolio. The luxury hotel has no connected casino (making it a great choice for Vegas visitors who don’t gamble), but it is located directly alongside ARIA Resort & Casino.

Vdara is a fine hotel with nearby access to the Las Vegas Strip, the Shops at Crystals, and the Aria Express Tram that runs between ARIA and Bellagio. It’s a nice place to stay, and the extra space in the all-suite hotel truly makes one feel at home.
