The airport has a modern terminal building and offers a wide range of services and amenities to travelers, including restaurants, shops, and currency exchange services.
The airport serves as a hub for Latvian flag carrier airBaltic, which operates a fleet of more than 40 Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Other major European carriers also fly to Tallinn, including Finnair, Lufthansa and Ryanair, among others.

Disability assistance services should be requested prior to travel and through your airline. Consult this list of wheelchair assistance contacts at major airlines. If you are traveling with a personal wheelchair, it is possible to gate-check the device, whether it is manual or powered.
I arrived to Tallinn on an a Finnair aircraft that parked at jet bridge. My wheelchair was returned to me at the aircraft door, and I was free to explore the terminal and proceed to baggage claim. As I was traveling from another European Union member state, I did not have to go through passport control.
The airport underwent a modernization effort in 1999 and a significant expansion in 2008, projects which embedded a significant level of accessibility into the airport environment. Private accessible bathroom facilities are available for use by both disabled travelers and their caregivers. The adapted bathrooms feature a toilet with grab bars, roll under sink and baby changing table.

Wheelchair accessible transportation between Tallinn Airport and the city center
The airport is connected to downtown Tallinn with a number of city bus routes. To access the bus stop, passengers should proceed outside from the departures level, down a ramp between the parking garages, and to the street in front go the airport.
The bus stop and shelter is located beneath the Estonian flag pole. Bus number 2 took me from TLL Airport to the city center in about 10 minutes. The buses are wheelchair accessible with a manual ramp deployed by the driver and a dedicated space for wheelchairs inside the bus.
City bus tickets valid for one hour are priced at €1.50 EUR and can be purchased online via the public transport ticketing website. Disabled people and persons aged 65+ who reside in Estonia are exempt from paying the fare, but in practice even foreign disabled travelers ride free (as was my experience).
